Markha Valley Trek 2022 Itinerary
Arrive Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi airport, you will be received by our representative and transfer to hotel for Check-in. Overnight stay in ITC Dwarka in Delhi.
Delhi - Leh
Today early Morning, we will transfer you to the Delhi airport to board a flight to Leh. Arrive Leh and check-in hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel Lenzig Leh.
Meal : Breakfast + Dinner
Leh Sightseeing
Morning after breakfast, we will take you to a local sightseeing which includes Hemis, Shey, and Thiksay monasteries. Back to hotel for overnight stay.

Leh – Skiu – Sara – Markha
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Sara, Lunch en-route. From Sara start trek to Markha it is around 7 Kms and will take 2-3 Hrs. Upon arrival in Markha village set up the camp site for overnight stay.

Markha – Thachungtse
Morning after breakfast start your trek to Thachungtse. You will cross Hunkar village, it is also the highest village in the valley if the weather allows then you can see the Mt. Kang Yatse. After crossing a small wooden bridge, you will see the Thachungtse campsite. Walk at least 30 minutes to reach the campsite, on arrival set up the campsite. Dinner and overnight stay in a tent.

Thachungtse – Nimaling
After breakfast in the morning get ready for trekking of Nammaling Plateau. At 4700 Meters. After reaching Nimaling you will see green meadows where hundreds of pashmina goats, yaks, and sheep are grazing, on the right side you will see the Mt. Kang Yatse 1 & 2 peaks, Setup the campsite for overnight stay.

Nimaling - KangmaruLa
Morning post breakfast starts your trek towards Chakdo, on this day you will cross through the highest pass of the trek. After 2 hours trek from Nimaling you reach the top (Kangmaru la) you will see many praying flags and praying walls, you will also see the view of K2 mountain peak which is worlds second highest peak, from here you can access your phone with the very network connectivity. Later continue your down trek towards Chakdo. Upon arrival drive back to Leh. Upon arrival check-in the hotel. Overnight stay in hotel.

Leh – Delhi Depart
Morning check out from hotel and transfer to airport to catch the flight to Delhi.Â
